RecoveryRobot Pro recovers deleted files, formatted-drive data, lost partitions and media from Windows storage devices, with a current 10% discount on the approved licenses below. Its four recovery modes cover deleted-file recovery, full-drive scanning, digital-media recovery and partition recovery for HDDs, SSDs, USB drives and memory cards.
Quick Summary
RecoveryRobot Pro is Windows data recovery software for logical data-loss cases such as accidental deletion, emptied Recycle Bin, formatting, inaccessible drives and lost or deleted partitions. The standard workflow is to scan the affected storage device, inspect recoverable results and save selected files to a different destination.

Windows Purchase Options
RecoveryRobot Pro
Windows licenses for deleted files, formatted drives, lost partitions and supported external-storage recovery.
Can This Software Do What I Need?
RecoveryRobot Pro is intended for logical recovery from storage that Windows can still detect. The key decision is choosing the recovery mode that matches the data-loss scenario.
-
I accidentally deleted files or emptied the Recycle Bin
Deleted Recovery
SupportedUse Deleted Recovery for files removed normally, with Shift+Delete or after the Recycle Bin was emptied. Recovery still depends on the deleted data not having been overwritten.
-
I formatted a hard drive, SSD, USB drive or memory card
Full Recovery
ConditionalFull Recovery scans the affected storage for recoverable data after formatting or access problems. Results vary with later writes, device condition and SSD cleanup such as TRIM.
-
A partition disappeared or was deleted
Partition Recovery
SupportedPartition Recovery scans the entire drive for lost or deleted partitions and is useful when the original location of the missing files is unclear.
-
I only care about photos, videos or audio
Digital Media Recovery
SupportedDigital Media Recovery focuses the scan on images, video and audio from drives, USB devices, SD cards, cameras and other supported removable storage.
-
The drive is physically damaged or not detected by Windows
Hardware failure
Not supportedSoftware recovery needs a readable device. Mechanical, electrical or controller-level failure can require professional hardware recovery instead of another scan mode.
How It Works
The official workflow is simple, but the critical rule is to avoid writing new data to the storage that contains the missing files.
Select, Scan, Find and Recover
- Open RecoveryRobot Pro and choose the recovery mode that matches the loss scenario.
- Select the affected drive or partition and let the scan finish for the most complete result.
- Browse by original path or file type and use search filters, thumbnails or preview where supported.
- Recover selected files to a different drive so new writes do not overwrite unrecovered data on the source.
Product Interface & Workflow
RecoveryRobot Pro separates the four main recovery scenarios at the start so the scan strategy is chosen before the affected drive is processed.
Compatibility & Coverage
RecoveryRobot Pro supports a broad range of Windows-detected internal and removable storage, with exFAT, NTFS/NTFS5 and FAT file systems listed by the vendor.
| Area | Current documented coverage | Buyer note |
|---|---|---|
| Windows | Windows 11 · 10 · 8 · 7 · Vista · XP · Server 2008 · Server 2003 | Windows-only application. |
| Storage devices | IDE/SATA/SCSI HDD · SSD · USB HDD · external HDD · hardware RAID · USB flash · CompactFlash · SD/memory cards · Zip drive · iPod | The device must remain detectable by Windows at the storage level. |
| File systems | exFAT · NTFS5 · NTFS · FAT32 · FAT16 · FAT12 | RAW or inaccessible cases may still be scannable when the underlying device is detected. |
| File types | documents · graphics · archives · multimedia · email · database files | Recoverability depends on intact file data, not only extension recognition. |
Features & Capabilities
The feature set is organized around how data was lost rather than around one generic scan.
Deleted File Recovery
- Normal delete, Shift+Delete and emptied Recycle Bin recovery
- Search by filename, extension, location, type, date and size
- Original-path and file-type result views
Formatted & Inaccessible Storage
- Scan formatted local or external drives
- USB and memory-card recovery where storage remains detectable
- Logical access-problem and RAW-storage workflows
Partition & Media Recovery
- Lost/deleted partition scanning
- Whole-drive scan when original location is unknown
- Dedicated photo, video and audio recovery
- Thumbnail and image preview for supported results
Important Conditions & Limitations
Data-recovery software cannot guarantee recovery. The decisive factors are whether Windows can still read the device, whether the relevant sectors remain intact and whether later writes have overwritten the original content.
Stop Using the Affected Drive
Installing software, downloading files or continuing normal work on the affected storage can overwrite recoverable sectors. Install and run recovery from a different location whenever possible.
Recover to Another Drive
Saving recovered files back to the source can overwrite other files that have not yet been restored.
SSD TRIM Can Reduce Recovery Chances
RecoveryRobot's current formatted-data guidance notes that SSD recovery may become more difficult after TRIM or internal cleanup processes deleted blocks.
Physical Failure Is Outside Normal Software Recovery
A mechanically or electrically failed drive may require professional hardware recovery because software needs readable storage to scan.
Free Edition & License Choices
The unregistered edition can scan and recover a limited amount of data, so it can be used to check whether the missing files appear before buying a larger-capacity license.
| Choice | PC allowance | Recovery / usage note | Approved price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unregistered edition | Evaluation install | Official help states a 50 MB recovery-capacity limit | Free download |
| Single | 1 PC | Single-user license | $35.95 · 10% discount |
| Home | 3 PCs | Non-commercial home use | $44.95 · 10% discount |
| Expert | 10 PCs | Expanded multi-PC licensing | $89.95 · 10% discount |
| Business | Unlimited PCs | Business/company deployment | $269.95 · 10% discount |
System Requirements
The supplied product pages publish Windows, storage and file-system compatibility but do not provide a current CPU/RAM minimum, so no unsupported hardware requirement is added.
| Requirement | Current documented value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Windows | Windows 11 · 10 · 8 · 7 · Vista · XP · Server 2008 · Server 2003 | Windows-only recovery application. |
| Source storage | Windows-detected HDD, SSD, USB, external drive, RAID or supported memory card/device | Logical access is required for software scanning. |
| File systems | exFAT · NTFS5 · NTFS · FAT32 · FAT16 · FAT12 | RAW cases may still be scanned when the physical device is detected. |
| Recovery destination | A different writable drive or storage device | Avoid saving recovered files to the source being scanned. |
