Revo Uninstaller Pro 5 is offered with a 75% discount on the Windows license options below, combining standard and forced uninstall workflows with leftover scanning, installation tracing, Windows app removal, browser-extension management and multi-level recovery safeguards.
Quick Summary
Revo Uninstaller Pro goes beyond launching a program's built-in uninstaller: it can analyze the installed software, run or bypass the vendor uninstaller as needed, scan for leftover Registry entries/files/folders, record installation changes in advance and keep several recovery layers before anything is removed.

- stubborn program removal · leftover cleanup · batch uninstall · traced installations · Windows apps · browser extensions · unknown programs · portable technician workflows
- Current release
- Revo Uninstaller Pro 5.5.4 and Portable 5.5.4 · released September 23, 2026; version 5.5 added full Windows-app support to Hunter Mode and further scanning/safety improvements
- Windows support
- Current vendor documentation covers Windows 7 through Windows 11, including native 64-bit support; current Logs Database entries also include 32-bit systems where applicable

Revo Uninstaller Pro 5 Pricing, Discount Code & License Options
The four Windows purchase paths below already include the eligible promotional pricing. The discount is handled through checkout, so no coupon string needs to be copied from this page or entered manually.
These are update-subscription choices, not time-limited use licenses. Revo states that the activated version remains usable without a time limit after the 1-year or 2-year update period expires; renewal is needed only to install releases published after that update entitlement ends.
Revo Uninstaller Pro Windows Purchase Options
Revo Uninstaller Pro 5
Installable Pro edition with the full advanced uninstallation feature set and a choice of one or two years of updates.
Revo Uninstaller Pro 5 Portable
Portable Pro edition for one licensed user who needs the complete Pro feature set from removable storage across multiple Windows computers.
Can This Software Do What I Need?
The right Revo workflow depends on whether the program still has a working uninstaller, whether you traced its installation in advance and whether the target is a classic desktop program, Windows app, browser extension or an unknown process you can only identify visually.
I can uninstall the program normally, but I want to remove leftovers afterward
Standard uninstall + leftover scan
SupportedRevo first runs the program's own uninstaller, then offers Safe, Moderate or Advanced scanning for leftover Registry entries, files and folders. The result remains reviewable before deletion instead of being removed blindly.
The built-in uninstaller is missing, damaged or the program is only partly installed
Forced Uninstall
Supported in PROForced Uninstall accepts the program name, a file/folder path or both, then searches for an available built-in uninstaller and matching trace logs before scanning for remnants. It is also useful for cleanup after software was already removed outside Revo.
I want to remove several programs in one queue
Quick / Multiple Uninstall
Supported in PROQuick Uninstall creates a Registry backup and Restore Point for the queue, attempts to run built-in uninstallers with minimal interaction and follows them with automatic leftover scanning/removal.
I want the cleanest future uninstall for software I have not installed yet
Real-time installation tracing
Supported in PROInstall with Revo records system changes while the installer and first application launch run. The resulting trace log can later reverse the known installation changes instead of relying only on a post-uninstall leftovers scan.
I need to remove Windows Store or built-in Windows apps
Windows Apps module
SupportedWindows Apps are listed separately from classic programs. Revo can launch the app-removal process, scan Registry leftovers afterward and, in Pro 5, can also batch-remove apps, remove for all users or reset supported apps to their default state.
I can see a program window or tray icon but cannot identify it in the installed-program list
Hunter Mode
SupportedHunter Mode replaces the main window with a target icon that can be dropped over a program window, desktop shortcut or tray icon. The resulting menu can expose uninstall, startup-management and process controls for that target.
I maintain many PCs and want to carry the same uninstaller on a USB drive
Portable license
Supported with PortableRevo Uninstaller Pro Portable is licensed per user rather than per computer. The vendor says that one licensed user may run it across an unlimited number of computers, provided it is not being used on multiple machines simultaneously.
I need scripted uninstall operations or installed-program inventory from a command line
CLI support
Supported in PROThe manual documents RevoCmd for program listing and RevoUnPro command-line operations for regular uninstall, traced uninstall, Windows-app removal and exporting installed/traced-program inventories.
How It Works
A normal removal is deliberately staged: create recovery data, let the program's own uninstaller do what it knows, scan for remnants, then review the proposed Registry and file deletions before confirming them.
Remove a Normal Desktop Program
- Select the program in Revo Uninstaller Pro 5 and start Uninstall.
- Allow the configured safeguards—such as Restore Point and Registry backup—to run before removal.
- Complete the program's built-in uninstall procedure, then return to Revo and click Scan.
- Choose Safe, Moderate or Advanced scanning according to how deeply you want Revo to search for leftovers.
- Review the Registry entries first, then files/folders, and click Delete explicitly for the items you want removed.
Use Forced Uninstall for a Broken Entry
- Open Forced Uninstall and provide the exact program name, its installation folder/file, or both.
- Review any built-in uninstaller or Logs Database match that Revo finds; disable the built-in uninstaller option if that component is the part that is broken.
- Select the leftover scan depth and, if needed, enable scanning across Windows accounts.
- Review the resulting Registry and file leftovers before deletion.
Trace a New Installation Before You Need to Remove It
- Start the installer through Revo Uninstaller Pro 5 or use the Install with Revo context-menu command in the installed edition.
- Let Revo AppBar monitor the installation while avoiding unrelated program launches or simultaneous installations.
- Launch the newly installed program once so first-run configuration changes can be captured, then close it.
- Stop monitoring and save the trace log for a future Traced Uninstall.
Remove a Windows App
- Open Windows Apps and select the app to remove.
- Revo creates the selected backups, analyzes the app information and starts the Windows/PowerShell removal process.
- Run the leftover scan afterward and review the Registry entries before explicitly deleting the selected remnants.
Product Interface & Workflow
The interface separates installed programs, Windows apps and uninstall-specific modules from recovery and maintenance tools, so a normal removal does not require navigating through every advanced function.
The installed-program list supports Details, List and Icons views, real-time filtering by name/publisher/comment and exports to formats such as TXT, HTML, CSV, XML and XLS. Program metadata can include version, size, publisher, install date, uninstall string and installation location.
Separate modules keep specialized tasks visible without crowding the default list: Traced Programs stores installation logs, Windows Apps handles app packages, Browser Extensions groups supported add-ons by browser, Logs Database provides vendor-created trace logs, and Backup Manager restores selected Registry or file backups.
The Tools side includes Autorun Manager, Junk Files Cleaner, Windows Tools, History Cleaner, Evidence Remover and Unrecoverable Delete. Those tools are adjacent to the uninstaller but should be treated as separate maintenance/privacy functions rather than as required steps in every uninstall.
Compatibility & Coverage
Current Revo documentation is focused on Windows systems and covers classic programs, Windows apps, supported browser extensions and both installed and portable Pro workflows.
| Area | Current documented coverage | Buyer note |
|---|---|---|
| Windows | Windows 11 · Windows 10 · Windows 8.1 / 8 · Windows 7 | The current FAQ explicitly confirms native 64-bit support from Windows 7 through Windows 11. |
| 32-bit software / systems | Current Logs Database includes 32-bit Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10 entries for supported programs | Command-line documentation also distinguishes 32-bit and 64-bit uninstall targets. |
| Classic desktop programs | Standard uninstall · Quick Uninstall · Forced Uninstall · trace/log-based removal | Different modules are intended for different failure states; Forced Uninstall is not necessary for every program. |
| Windows Apps | Installed and built-in apps · multiple-app removal · all-user removal · app reset in Pro 5 | The traced-installation feature does not trace Microsoft Store app installations. |
| Browser extensions | Microsoft Edge · Google Chrome · Mozilla Firefox · Opera · Internet Explorer | The browser should be closed before removing an extension; Edge extensions are handled as apps. |
| Installed edition | Licensed per computer | Any user of a licensed computer can use the installed Pro edition. |
| Portable edition | Licensed per user · usable from removable storage across multiple PCs | The vendor limits a portable user license to one user and says it must not be used simultaneously on multiple computers. |

Important Conditions & Limitations
A deeper uninstall is useful only when deletion remains controlled; Revo's own manual repeatedly recommends reviewing leftovers and understanding the selected scan level instead of treating every discovered Registry entry as disposable.
Moderate Is the Vendor's Recommended Starting Scan
The manual advises inexperienced users to stay with Moderate. Advanced performs the deepest leftover search and is intended for users who are prepared to inspect the proposed Registry and file items more carefully.
Revo Intentionally May Leave Some Data Behind
The manual says its safety mechanisms can withhold leftovers when deletion could harm Windows or another application. That means a “cleaner” result with fewer remaining entries is not automatically safer than Revo's more conservative result.
A Trace Is Cleanest When Other Activity Is Stopped
During installation tracing, Revo recommends closing unrelated applications, avoiding other installations and launching the newly installed program once before saving the log. Rebooting during tracing can cause the trace log to be lost.
The Update Subscription Is Not the Same as an Expiring App License
One- and two-year plans define how long newer Revo releases and technical-support entitlement remain active. The vendor states that already licensed versions continue to work without a time limit after that update period expires.
Installed and Portable Licensing Are Fundamentally Different
Standard Pro is licensed per computer. Portable is licensed to one person and can travel across computers on removable storage, but it is not a shared unlimited-user license and is not intended for simultaneous use on multiple machines.
Privacy Erasure Tools Are Destructive
Evidence Remover and Unrecoverable Delete are intentionally designed to prevent later data recovery. They are separate privacy tools, not normal leftover-cleanup steps, and should only be used when permanent erasure is the actual goal.
Free Version vs PRO
Revo offers both a permanently free edition and a separate 30-day Pro trial with no credit card required; the paid Pro tools become most relevant when the standard uninstall path is incomplete or you need trace/log/backup automation.
| Capability | Current vendor position | Purchase relevance |
|---|---|---|
| Standard program uninstall + leftover scan | Available in Free and PRO | The Free edition is sufficient to evaluate Revo's basic post-uninstall cleanup approach. |
| Windows Apps | Available in Free and PRO; Pro adds broader controls | Pro 5 adds multi-app removal, all-user removal and app reset features. |
| Hunter Mode | Available in Free and PRO | Useful even before purchasing when the target program is easier to identify visually. |
| Forced Uninstall | PRO | Important for missing, damaged or incomplete uninstallers and manual-remnant cleanup. |
| Quick / Multiple Uninstall | PRO | Reduces manual work when removing several programs in one maintenance session. |
| Real-time installation monitor / Logs Database | PRO | Creates or reuses installation knowledge before removal instead of relying only on after-the-fact scanning. |
| Multi-level Backup system | PRO | Adds deeper recovery safeguards around Registry and leftover deletion. |
| PRO trial | 30 days · no credit card required | Allows the advanced feature set to be evaluated before buying. |
| Money-back period | 60-day money-back guarantee advertised | Refund eligibility remains subject to Revo's current purchase/refund terms. |
System Requirements
