WinToHDD Professional installs or reinstalls Windows from an ISO without making a bootable USB drive and moves an existing Windows setup to a new HDD or SSD. Discounts of up to 25% may be available through eligible promotions; the Professional and Enterprise purchase choices below list their individual prices. The same utility can also prepare a multi-installation USB for work on other computers.
Quick Summary
WinToHDD is a Windows installation and system-migration utility, not a general file-copy or portable-Windows creator. It offers four distinct tasks; choosing the right one is more important than the number of features.

- Fourth workflow
- Build a multi-installation USB containing several Windows installation ISO files
- Windows editions
- Professional supports Windows Home, Pro and Enterprise; Enterprise additionally covers Windows Server
- Source formats
- ISO · WIM · ESD · SWM · VHD · VHDX; installation DVD as a source where supported
- Licensing choice
- Professional: 1 user / 2 PCs · Enterprise: unlimited PCs at one organizational site
WinToHDD Professional Pricing, Discount Code & License Options
Two paid editions are listed here: Professional for one user on two computers and Enterprise for Windows Server support and site-wide deployment. These are different entitlements, not merely different prices.
Eligible WinToHDD promotions may advertise up to 25% discounts, but the two purchase links shown here list their own prices without a separately verified reduced regular price. Check the final checkout total, including any applicable tax, before paying. No manual coupon entry is needed for these links.
Professional includes a single-user license for two PCs and supports business use on non-Server Windows editions. Enterprise is a site license for unlimited computers within the same organization at the same site; it is the edition required for Windows Server. Both include lifetime version upgrades and technical support.
WinToHDD Windows Purchase Options

WinToHDD Enterprise
For one organization at one site; includes Windows Server deployment and site-wide use without a per-PC cap.
Can This Software Do What I Need?
Choose WinToHDD by the destination of Windows, not simply by whether an ISO file is involved. A second internal SSD, the current system partition and a portable USB operating system call for different workflows.
-
I want to reinstall Windows 11 or Windows 10 from an ISO without preparing a USB installer
Reinstalling on the current PC
SupportedUse Reinstall Windows while Windows can still run WinToHDD. Select a valid installation image and Windows edition, confirm the target system partitions, then allow the WinPE-based restart. It does not remove the need for installation source files.
-
I have added another internal HDD or SSD and want Windows installed on that drive
Install on a different disk
SupportedNew Installation is intended for a destination disk other than the one containing the currently running Windows. The guide explicitly asks you to confirm the destination and partition layout before formatting.
-
I am replacing my Windows system drive and want to retain installed applications and settings
HDD-to-SSD Windows migration
SupportedSystem Clone copies the selected existing Windows installation to another disk. It is not the same as deploying a fresh Windows ISO, and the destination may need to be erased.
-
I need to reinstall or clone Windows Pro or Enterprise at work
Non-Server commercial Windows
SupportedThe paid Professional edition is licensed for business use and supports Windows Professional and Enterprise editions. Its single-user/two-PC allowance still applies.
-
My job involves Windows Server deployment or many company computers at one site
Enterprise licensing
Better fitChoose WinToHDD Enterprise for Windows Server support and same-site organizational deployment on unlimited PCs. The Professional license does not cover Windows Server.
-
I need a single USB with several Windows installation ISOs for different PCs
Multi-installation media
SupportedThe Multi-installation USB function prepares a bootable drive for BIOS/UEFI machines. The setup formats the USB, then you copy installation ISO files onto it.
-
I want Windows 11 to boot and run directly from a portable USB SSD
Portable Windows To Go
Different taskA bootable USB installer is not a portable running Windows installation. The vendor documents Windows To Go creation under its separate WinToUSB product, not as WinToHDD’s primary function.
-
The target PC no longer boots and I have no other working Windows environment
Deployment starting point
ConditionalWinToHDD’s no-USB reinstall workflow begins inside a working Windows session. A previously prepared Multi-installation USB or another suitable recovery environment may be necessary when Windows will not start.
-
I want to keep documents safe while changing Windows or formatting a disk
Protecting existing data
Verify firstInstallation and cloning screens can format destination partitions or whole disks. Make an independent backup and verify the drive identity before accepting any destructive step.
How It Works
The official guides separate reinstallation, a clean installation on another disk, cloning the running system and creating a multi-installation USB. The steps below follow those workflows without treating them as interchangeable.
Reinstall Windows Without a Bootable USB
- Open WinToHDD Professional from your existing Windows installation and choose Reinstall Windows. Keep a separate backup of personal files first.
- Browse to an ISO, WIM, ESD, SWM, VHD or VHDX installation source (or choose a supported installation DVD), then select the Windows edition.
- Review the automatically selected boot and system partitions. If necessary, inspect the installation mode, UEFI CA 2023 option and additional-driver settings before proceeding.
- Confirm the WinPE creation and reboot prompts; Windows deployment continues after the computer restarts. Do not interrupt the operation once it begins.
Install Windows Onto a Different HDD or SSD
- Run WinToHDD Professional and select New Installation; this is for a disk other than the currently running Windows disk.
- Choose an installation image and edition, then identify the destination disk by size and device information.
- Select the relevant BIOS/MBR or UEFI/GPT partition scheme. The guide warns that these choices format the destination disk; preserving the existing scheme requires manually prepared partitions.
- Assign the boot and system partitions, review the remaining deployment settings and continue only when the intended target disk is confirmed.
Migrate the Current Windows System to an SSD
- Attach the replacement HDD or SSD, open WinToHDD Professional and choose System Clone.
- Select the installed Windows system to migrate; verify that it contains the applications and settings you intend to retain.
- Choose the destination disk and partition scheme carefully. The vendor guide warns that selecting BIOS/MBR or UEFI/GPT can erase the destination.
- Confirm boot and system partitions and start cloning. Afterward, arrange the boot order and check that the copied Windows environment starts on the replacement drive.
Build One Windows Multi-Installation USB
- Connect a USB drive, choose Multi-installation USB in WinToHDD Professional, and select the exact USB target.
- Approve formatting only after saving any existing USB files, then confirm the boot and system partition choices.
- Use Microsoft’s download source or an offline package for the required WinPE components when prompted.
- After media preparation, copy the Windows installation ISO files onto the USB and boot a target computer from that drive when needed.
Product Interface & Workflow
The WinToHDD home screen gives each deployment task its own entry point.
Compatibility & Coverage
Compatibility has two layers: the Windows version on which WinToHDD runs and the Windows edition you are permitted to deploy with your license. Firmware and target-disk layout also affect the installation path.
| Area | Documented support | Buying or deployment consequence |
|---|---|---|
| Host operating system | Windows Vista / Windows Server 2008 or later, 32-bit and 64-bit | The utility runs on Windows; no macOS application is listed. |
| Professional editions | Windows Home, Professional and Enterprise | Professional is licensed for home/business use by one user on two PCs; Windows Server deployments require Enterprise. |
| Enterprise editions | Windows Home, Professional, Enterprise and Windows Server | Site license covers unlimited PCs inside the same organization at the same site. |
| Installation sources | ISO · WIM · ESD · SWM · VHD · VHDX · supported Windows installation DVD | A valid Windows installation source is still needed even when a bootable USB installer is not. |
| Internal disk targets | HDD / SSD; supported 4K-sector disks in paid editions | For New Installation or System Clone, verify the destination disk and confirm data-loss warnings. |
| Boot configuration | BIOS/MBR · UEFI/GPT · Windows UEFI CA 2023 support | UEFI firmware compatibility matters for the newer Secure Boot certificate option. |
| Windows 11 installation options | WinToHDD offers documented hardware-check bypass options for supported installation paths | A bypass does not turn incompatible hardware into officially supported Windows hardware. |
| Multi-installation media | Bootable USB containing multiple Windows installation ISO files | This prepares installation media, not a live portable Windows-to-Go workspace. |
Features & Capabilities
The strongest reasons to choose WinToHDD are tied to how you deploy Windows: no separate installer USB for an in-place reinstall, a second internal disk for a fresh installation, and a clone when existing software settings must move.
Windows Reinstallation from Local Images
- Launch reinstallation from an existing Windows session using locally available image files.
- Choose the operating-system edition found inside the selected image.
- WinPE-based restart completes the deployment outside the running Windows environment.
- Optional additional-driver injection can help the installer recognize relevant hardware.
Installing onto Another Internal Drive
- Use the same source image types for a destination disk separate from the current Windows disk.
- Choose MBR for BIOS or GPT for UEFI, or retain a manually prepared partition scheme.
- Select separate boot and system partitions and, where supported, adjust their sizes.
- Use Legacy or VHD/VHDX deployment paths where the documented workflow permits.
Windows System Migration
- Copy an existing Windows installation with applications and settings onto a replacement HDD/SSD.
- Choose the source Windows installation when multiple systems are detected.
- Paid editions support 4K-sector disks and the vendor lists a faster cloning implementation than Free.
- An optional sector-by-sector boot-partition clone exists in the detailed migration guide.
Bootable USB for Multiple Installations
- Prepare one USB drive to install different Windows versions from multiple ISO files.
- Use BIOS/UEFI boot support for compatible target computers.
- Load required WinPE components during USB creation, online or from an offline package.
- Keep the prepared tool and its license within the permitted Professional/Enterprise computer scope.
Important Conditions & Limitations
Windows deployment changes system partitions and sometimes the entire destination disk. The relevant risk is not merely whether the program can clone Windows, but which disk is being modified and which license permits the task.
A Reinstall Without USB Still Needs Working Windows to Start
The no-USB reinstallation method starts from an existing running Windows environment and valid Windows image files. If the machine cannot boot, plan for a suitable prepared installation or recovery environment. The tool is not a guarantee that a non-booting PC can be fixed without external media.
Choosing a Partition Scheme Can Erase the Destination
The New Installation and System Clone guides explicitly warn that the standard MBR-for-BIOS and GPT-for-UEFI choices format the selected target drive. Keeping an existing scheme requires manual partition preparation; it is not an automatic preserve-files mode.
Windows Licensing and Application Compatibility Remain Separate
A WinToHDD purchase licenses the deployment utility, not Microsoft Windows itself. Moving Windows to new hardware can affect activation, storage drivers and software licenses. Check the OS and application requirements before changing machines or boot devices.
Bypassing Windows 11 Requirements Does Not Provide Official Hardware Support
The vendor documents bypass options for certain Windows 11 installation checks. These do not establish that Microsoft supports the target PC or guarantees security updates and driver reliability on unsupported hardware. Decide that hardware issue independently of the installation workflow.
WinToHDD Is Not WinToUSB
The Multi-installation USB option creates bootable Windows installation media. Creating Windows To Go—Windows that runs as a portable system from a USB drive—is documented by Hasleo under WinToUSB. The two workflows should not be confused.
Enterprise Means a Same-Site License
The Enterprise unlimited-PC allowance is defined for computers in the same organization at the same site. It should not be interpreted as unrestricted licensing for multiple independent client organizations or locations.
Promotion Headline and Checkout Prices Are Different Facts
The promotion maximum is not a discount rate assigned to either visible offer. The official product comparison currently lists $29.95 for Professional and $199.95 for Enterprise before applicable VAT; these match the prices entered in the purchase cards. Confirm the charge displayed by checkout rather than assuming a lower final amount.
Free Trial / Free Version
WinToHDD provides a Free edition for home users. The paid versions are not required for every basic home-installation task, but they change Windows edition coverage, business rights, supported disk hardware and deployment licensing.
| Edition | Included capabilities | Key restrictions or value |
|---|---|---|
| Free for home users | Reinstall Windows · New Installation · System Clone · Multi-installation USB | Windows Home editions only; no business usage; no lifetime upgrade entitlement. |
| Professional | Core installation/clone/USB functions, Windows Pro/Enterprise support, BitLocker option and 4K-sector disks | One user / two PCs; home and business use; no Windows Server support; lifetime upgrades. |
| Enterprise | Professional-class functionality plus Windows Server support | Same-organization, same-site license for unlimited PCs with lifetime upgrades. |
System Requirements
These are the application host requirements published in the WinToHDD technical reference. The operating system being installed may have its own stricter processor, storage and firmware requirements.
| Requirement | Published minimum or scope | Practical note |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008 and later (32/64-bit) | Edition-level deployment restrictions depend on Free, Professional or Enterprise. |
| Processor | 1 GHz Intel Pentium or compatible 32/64-bit CPU | The installation workload may depend heavily on the target operating system and storage performance. |
| Memory | 1 GB RAM minimum; 2 GB recommended | This is WinToHDD’s baseline, not the Windows 11 hardware specification. |
| Free disk space | 1,024 MB | Additional space is needed for the Windows installation image, WinPE components and deployment. |
| Display | 1024 × 768 resolution | Higher resolution recommended by the vendor. |
| Source / destination | Valid Windows installation image; internal target HDD or SSD for install/clone tasks | Keep an external backup and verify disk identity before destructive operations. |
| Boot mode | BIOS/MBR or UEFI/GPT as supported by the target | UEFI CA 2023 support requires compatible firmware. |
